Visitor's Book

We discovered Lemontree House because we needed somewhere to stay for one night after attending a YolanDa Brown performance at the Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot. The concert was tremendous and so was our stay in the studio afterwards. The studio is 'boutique' style. B and B at its best. Our hosts Fiona and Richard are very experienced in greeting strangers and providing them with delicious food, beautifully served, and ensuring their comfort throughout. They even shared our newly released YolanDa Brown cd with us in the breakfast room. Real pleasures don't come much better.
Thanks for a very interesting stay.

We stayed at the Lemon Tree House as we were atending a family event in the area. It was great to find somewhere where the hosts were so accommadating.
The setting is great as East Hagboune is such a preety village, our rooms were very clean and confortable and it was great to have a hearty breakfast before we did out long drive home.

A quick stopover at the Lemon Tree provided an oasis away from the A34. The village was really pretty and the hospitality was excellent. The room (Red!) was lovely and coffee, tea, water all laid on. Breakfast was excellent and we set off refreshed. Thanks.

We had a lovely couple of nights at the Lemon Tree. The room we stayed in is very nice and Richard was very tolerant of our baby and provided us with a high chair and travel cot, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was great too.

A wonderful 5 days with a comfortable and quiet room, memorable breakfasts and delightful hospitality from Fiona and Richard. A perfect location for exploring the villages and countryside around East Hagbourne on foot or further afield by car or train. We visited Blewbury, Aston Upthorpe and South Moreton on foot and Bath, Bristol, Oxford and Moreton-in-Marsh by train and foot. The village locals were very friendly with directions, chats and advice and one lovely couple invited us in for afternoon tea in their beautiful old house. Some stopped to offer us lifts. We will recommend Lemon Tree Cottage to all our friends at home in Australia.

“…he thought his study very useful indeed and has completely revised his pre-conceptions of English food. It seems you are doing a lot to improve the image of British food among the Japanese.”
